Course Information

Referee Course Information


If you would like a course at your club, email Roy Gingell . Once the date and venues have been confirmed you will then be contacted to confirm an interest to attend.



Option  - £150 single payment

If a club or county for for the course with a sinngle payment unlimited numbers can attend and upon qualification all will receive their first years registration for free.



Level 1: Club

 Candidates will receive:

  • Rule handouts
  • A 3 hour classroom based course
  • Referee Exam - completed in your own time
  • Video Assessment on various situations taken at the end of the Exam
  • One year free Referee insurance for that particular season
  • Free registration upon gaining qualification (normally £20 per year)
  • All the benefits of being registered, see tab




A minimum of 8 Candidates are required to hold the Referee and Markers Course

The course will take approximately 3 hours and comprise of fully interactive theory and video analysis with various situations and all the rules discussed




Candidates complete the course on the day. Following the course they will receive the referee exam to complete in their own time.




On completion of the Course/Video Assessment and Exam they will be entered onto the Squash Wales Qualified Referee Database on our Website 


All fees are payable to Wales Squash & Racketball Ltd and include Liability Insurance upon qualification.
