CARDIFF HOSTS WELSH MASTERS

As Wales’s Women were making history in Canada, the Masters were turning the clock back in Cardiff as Sport Wales National Centre staged the Bourse Welsh Masters event from December 6-7.  As always, there was a friendly atmosphere with an ultimately competitive edge and will to win - and this was shown throughout all eight competition categories.

In the Ladies’ event the top performers from the two pools – Sam Mueller and Lynne Davies – met in the final, with Mueller coming out on top (9-1, 9-5, 9-0); while Alison Gay beat Carolyn Goodings to third.
