Wales’s women have recorded their best result in a generation after finishing ninth at the Women’s World Team Championships, staged in Canada from December 1-6.
The tournament tenth seeds – consisting of Jenny Haley, Elin Harlow, Deon Saffery and Welsh number one, Tesni Evans, performed remarkably throughout to secure the team’s finest finish since 1987.
