Youngsters in Penarth are set to make a racket on the squash courts after enjoying a fun introduction to the sport.

Coaches from Wales Squash and Racketball have teamed up with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to visit primary schools around Penarth and help them get to grips with the game.

Children at St Joseph’s RC Primary School were among the first to get the chance to pick up some tips and take aim at a special ‘moveable wall’, ideal for coaching in various locations.

Youngsters are also being given a further chance to develop their new skills at squash sessions being held every Wednesday after school at Penarth Leisure Centre.
