Newtown is now the regular home of the Central Wales APC, led by Greg Tippings; which supports U13 Welsh squad members from Aberystwyth, Newtown & Llanfyllin on a monthly basis. Newtown is also the home of the U13 & U17 Central Squads, under the guidance of Mark Davies which supports players from Brecon, Tywyn, Newtown & Llanfyllin clubs; enabling them to move into the WSRB player pathways.
